What are soffits and fascias?
The fascia is the vertical board fixed along the roof edge, commonly supporting the gutter. The soffit is the underside that closes the gap between the fascia and the wall. Modern systems are often uPVC, although older homes may have painted timber or other materials.
Because they sit beneath roof edges, these components collect runoff, algae, insect marks and grime that ordinary window cleaning may not reach.

Yes, but their condition must be checked. Flaking paint or soft timber may deteriorate further under cleaning. Low pressure and careful product choice are important, and cleaning may reveal the need for repair or repainting.
